An invoice calculator for freelancers

Before an invoice goes into your accounting tool, you work it out somewhere. Hours times rate. A discount. VAT. Maybe the client's currency. In Ratio, all of it stays on one page, with names, so you can change the rate and watch every line update.

Questions

Can Ratio make the invoice document? No. Ratio is a calculator: it works out the numbers, which you then copy into your invoicing or accounting tool, or export as text or Markdown on the Mac.

How do I add VAT to an invoice total? Write net + VAT for your region's rate, or net + VAT 9% for another rate. VAT in gross shows the tax on its own.

Can I show the total in my client's currency? Yes. Add a line like gross in usd. Ratio uses live rates for 160+ currencies, refreshed while you're online.
