Changelog

Ratio 0.6.3

  • Loans and working days now work in plain words in Romanian, German and French: “împrumut 300k la 6% pentru 25 ani”, “Kredit 200k bei 5% für 30 Jahre”, “prêt 200k à 5% sur 30 ans”, “zile lucrătoare între 1 dec și 31 dec”.
  • “noon” and “midnight” work as times: “noon UTC in Los Angeles”. French “jusqu'à Noël” counts down like “until Christmas”.
  • “5 km in foo” and matrices like “det([[1,2],[3,4]])” now show nothing instead of a wrong answer.
  • Imperial units in German and French: “5 km in Meilen”, “100 kg in pfund”. average(…) works like mean.
  • In Terminal, ratio --region FR now uses France's VAT rate instead of the rate saved in the app.

Ratio 0.6.2

  • With the Liquid Glass look, the window keeps its theme color when you switch to another app instead of turning pale.

Ratio 0.6.1

  • Numbers written with dots for thousands, like 2.500 or 1.234.567, now read as thousands in regions that write them that way, so you can paste a result back in.

Ratio 0.6

  • Runs on Intel Macs too: one universal app for Apple silicon and Intel.
  • Share a sheet as a picture (copy or save as PNG) or as a link anyone can open in a browser.
  • Version history: Ratio keeps earlier copies of each sheet; File › Version History brings one back.
  • Fixed a crash with very deeply nested brackets.

Ratio 0.5

  • A friendlier installer window: drag Ratio into Applications.

Ratio 0.4

  • Weekdays (“next friday”), “in 10 days” and whole days until a date.
  • Lowercase units work everywhere: “gb”, “mb”, “f in c”.
  • Fixed a crash on first launch.
