Questions

Is Ratio open source? No. Ratio is a paid app with a 7-day free trial. If you need an open-source calculator, see how it compares with SpeedCrunch and Qalculate.

Which distributions does Ratio run on? Any 64-bit distribution with glibc 2.35 or newer through the AppImage, for example Ubuntu 22.04 or later, Debian 12, Fedora 36 or later. The .deb is for Ubuntu, Debian, Mint and other Debian-based systems.

Does it need an account or send my sheets anywhere? No. There is no account and sheets stay on your computer. Ratio only goes online to download exchange rates and to check the license.

Can I use one license on Linux and on a Mac? Yes. A 2- or 3-computer license can mix Linux, Windows and Mac. Click “Deactivate this PC” in Ratio Pro to move it.
