Terms
Last updated October 14, 2026
These terms cover using Ratio and buying a license. They're short on purpose. If anything is unclear, write to hello@useratio.app.
The free trial
You can use everything in Ratio free for 7 days. After that, Ratio stops calculating until you buy a license.
Your license
A license is a one-time purchase. It lets you use Ratio on the number of Macs you bought it for: 1, 2 or 3. It includes the updates we release for Ratio. It's for you or your household. Please don't share your key publicly or resell it.
You can move a license to a different Mac by deactivating it on the old one in Ratio's settings.
Payment and refunds
Purchases are processed by Polar, our merchant of record, and Polar's terms apply to the payment. Prices are shown before you pay and include any taxes Polar has to collect. If Ratio doesn't work for you, email us within 14 days of your purchase and we'll refund it.
Results and exchange rates
We work hard to make Ratio's math right, but it is a tool for everyday calculations. Exchange rates come from third-party services and can be delayed or wrong. Please double-check anything important, such as money, medicine or engineering, before relying on it.
No warranty
Ratio is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for losses that come from using it, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for your license. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that can't be waived under the law where you live.
Changes
We may update these terms when Ratio changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. The terms that applied when you bought your license still cover that purchase.
