# RGB and HSL colours

Two ways of describing a colour: by its red, green and blue parts, or by hue, saturation and lightness.

A web colour like #FF8800 is red 255, green 136, blue 0 in hex. HSL describes the same orange as a position on the colour wheel, which is easier to adjust by hand.
