# Exchange rate

How much of one currency you get for one unit of another.

Rates move all day, so a conversion is only right for a moment. Ratio downloads fresh rates for 160+ currencies and major cryptocurrencies, and keeps working offline with the last ones it saved.

For a past day, add the date and Ratio uses that day's European Central Bank reference rate.
